'Sang' in the Bible

Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord. They said:I will sing to the Lord,for He is highly exalted;He has thrown the horseand its rider into the sea.

Miriam sang to them:Sing to the Lord,for He is highly exalted;He has thrown the horseand its rider into the sea.

Then Israel sang this song:Spring up, well—sing to it!

On that day Deborah and Barak son of Abinoam sang:

As they celebrated, the women sang:Saul has killed his thousands,but David his tens of thousands.

David sang the following lament for Saul and his son Jonathan,

Then King Hezekiah and the officials told the Levites to sing praise to the Lord in the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with rejoicing and bowed down and worshiped.
