'Secured' in the Bible

And so the burnt offering was slaughtered, and Aaron's sons secured for him the blood, which he poured on the altar and around it.

Therefore the LORD secured Jehoshaphat's kingdom under his control, with all of Judah paying him tribute, and Jehoshaphat became very wealthy and greatly respected.

So they went and secured the tomb by putting a seal on the stone in the presence of the guards.

Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with his own blood he went into the Most Holy Place once for all and secured our eternal redemption.
