'Shafts' in the Bible

“He breaks open (mine) shafts far away from where people live,[In places] forgotten by the [human] foot;They dangle [in the mines] and hang away from men.

He prepares weapons of death for himself, he makes his arrows into fiery shafts.

Let them flow away like water that runs off;When he aims his arrows, let them be as headless shafts.

He hath caused the shafts of his quiver to enter into my reins.
