'Silent' in the Bible
“When they become waterless, they are silent,When it is hot, they vanish from their place.
“Teach me, and I will be silent; And show me how I have erred.
“O that you would be completely silent,And that it would become your wisdom!
“Be silent before me so that I may speak; Then let come on me what may.
“Who will contend with me?For then I would be silent and die.
“To me they listened and waited,And kept silent for my counsel.
Because I feared the great multitude,And the contempt of families terrified me,And kept silent and did not go out of doors?
“Pay attention, O Job, listen to me;Keep silent, and let me speak.
“If not, listen to me;Keep silent, and I will teach you wisdom.”
