'Sinned' in the Bible

ח KhetJerusalem has sinned grievously;therefore, she has become an object of scorn.All who honored her now despise her,for they have seen her nakedness.She herself groans and turns away.

We have sinned and rebelled;You have not forgiven.

Our fathers sinned; they no longer exist,but we bear their punishment.

The crown has fallen from our head.Woe to us, for we have sinned.
