'Sinned' in the Bible

I said, “Lord, be gracious to me;heal me, for I have sinned against You.”

Against You—You alone—I have sinnedand done this evil in Your sight.So You are right when You pass sentence;You are blameless when You judge.

Both we and our fathers have sinned;we have done wrong and have acted wickedly.
