'Slain' in the Bible

but you have risen against my father’s house today and have murdered his sons, seventy men, on one stone, and have made Abimelech, son of his maidservant, king over the people of Shechem, because he is your relative—

Then Samson said,“With the jawbone of a donkey,Heaps upon heaps,With the jawbone of a donkeyI have struck down a thousand men.”

When the people saw Samson, they praised their god, for they said,“Our god has handed over our enemy to us,The ravager of our country,Who has killed many of us.”
