'Slip' in the Bible
‘Vengeance is Mine, and retribution,In due time their foot will slip;For the day of their calamity is near,And the impending things are hastening upon them.’
“They slip by like reed boats,Like an eagle that swoops on its prey.
“He who is at ease holds calamity in contempt,As prepared for those whose feet slip.
The law of his God is in his heart;His steps do not slip.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should changeAnd though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea;
Who keeps us in lifeAnd does not allow our feet to slip.
He will not allow your foot to slip;He who keeps you will not slumber.
But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.
