'Stained' in the Bible

And if it is on her bed or on the thing on which she is sitting, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until evening.

“If my step has turned away from the way [of God],Or if my heart has [covetously] followed my eyes,Or if any spot [of guilt] has stained my hands,

“I have trodden the wine trough alone,And of the peoples there was no one with Me.I also trod them in My angerAnd trampled them in My wrath;And their lifeblood is sprinkled on My garments,And I stained all My clothes.

“For though you wash yourself with lyeAnd use much soap,The stain of your guilt is [still] before Me [and you are soiled and dirty],” says the Lord God.
