'Stayed' in the Bible
Now Eli [was] {ninety-eight years old} and his eyes {stayed fixed ahead} and he was not able to see.
{From} the day the ark stayed in Kiriath Jearim, {days multiplied and became twenty years} while all the house of Israel mourned after Yahweh.
So David fled and escaped, and he came to Samuel at Ramah and told him all that Saul had done to him. Then he and Samuel went and stayed in Naioth.
So {he brought them before the king of Moab}, and they stayed with him all the days David was in the stronghold.
And Saul and his men went to seek [him], and they told David, so he went down [to] the rock and stayed in the wilderness of Maon. When Saul heard [this], he pursued David [into] the wilderness of Maon.
David went up from there and stayed in the strongholds of En Gedi.
David pursued, he and four hundred men; but two hundred men stayed because they were too exhausted to pass over the Wadi Besor.
