'Tearing' in the Bible
Then the king rose and tore his garments, and he lay on the ground, and all his servants standing by [were] tearing their garments.
"[You who] are tearing {yourself} in your anger, will [the] earth be forsaken because of you? Or will [the] rock be removed from its place?
They open their mouth against me [like] a lion tearing and roaring.
For the Lord Yahweh of hosts has a day of tumult and trampling and confusion in [the] valley of vision, tearing down of walls and a cry for help to the mountains.
