'Today' in the Bible
For to which of the angels did he ever say, "You are my son, today I have begotten you," and again, "I will be {his father}, and he will be {my son}"?
Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says, "Today, if you hear his voice,
But encourage one another {day by day}, as long as it is called "today," so that {none of you become hardened} by the deception of sin.
{while it is said}, "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion."
again he ordains a certain day, today, speaking by David after so long a time, just as had been said before, "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts."
Thus also Christ did not glorify himself to become high priest, but the one who said to him, "You are my Son, today I have begotten you,"
Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday and today and {forever}.
