'Tumult' in the Bible

“Truly, [the hope of salvation from] the hill [where idols are worshiped] is a deception,A tumult and noisy multitude on the mountains;Truly in the Lord our GodIs the salvation of Israel.

When He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens,And He causes the clouds and the mist to ascend from the end of the earth;He makes lightning for the rain,And brings out the wind from His treasuries and from His storehouses.

“In the shadow of HeshbonThe fugitives stand powerless [helpless and without strength],For a fire has gone out from Heshbon,A flame from the midst of Sihon;It has destroyed the forehead of MoabAnd the crowns of the heads of [the arrogant Moabites] the ones in tumult.
