'Ungodly' in the Bible

Vindicate me, God, and defend my causeagainst an ungodly nation;rescue me from the deceitful and unjust man.

With his mouth the ungodly destroys his neighbor,but through knowledge the righteous are rescued.

The sinners in Zion are afraid;trembling seizes the ungodly:“Who among us can dwell with a consuming fire?Who among us can dwell with ever-burning flames?”
