'Winter' in the Bible
{As long as the earth endures}, seed and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will not cease.
You defined all [the] boundaries of [the] earth; Summer and winter--you formed them.
For look! The winter is over; {the rainy season} {has turned and gone away}.
They shall {all be left} for birds of prey of [the] mountains and for the animals of the earth. And the birds of prey will pass the summer on it, and every animal of the earth will winter on it.
Now the king [was] sitting [in] the quarters of the winter in the ninth month, and a fire-pot [was] burning {before} him.
{And then} on that day, living waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half of them to the eastern sea, and the other half to the western sea; it will happen [both] in the summer and in the winter.
But pray that your flight may not happen in winter or on a Sabbath.
But pray that it will not happen in winter.
Then the feast of the Dedication took place in Jerusalem. It was winter,
And [because] the harbor was unsuitable for spending the winter in, the majority decided on a plan to put out to sea from there, if somehow they could arrive at Phoenix, a harbor of Crete facing toward the southwest and toward the northwest, to spend the winter [there].
and perhaps I will stay with you, or even spend the winter, so that you may send me on my way wherever I may go.
