'Wise' in the Bible

He traps the wise in their craftinessso that the plans of the deceptiveare quickly brought to an end.

God is wise and all-powerful.Who has opposed Him and come out unharmed?

Does a wise man answer with empty counselor fill himself with the hot east wind?

what was declared by wise menand was not suppressed by their ancestors,

But come back and try again, all of you.I will not find a wise man among you.

Can a man be of any use to God?Can even a wise man be of use to Him?

It is not only the old who are wiseor the elderly who understand how to judge.

Hear my words, you wise men,and listen to me, you knowledgeable ones.

Reasonable men will say to me,along with the wise men who hear me,

Therefore, men fear Him.He does not look favorably on any who are wise in heart.
