'Wrath' in the Bible
Circumcise yourselves to the Lord;remove the foreskin of your hearts,men of Judah and residents of Jerusalem.Otherwise, My wrath will break out like fireand burn with no one to extinguish itbecause of your evil deeds.
But I am full of the Lord’s wrath;I am tired of holding it back.Pour it out on the children in the street,on the gang of young men as well.For both husband and wife will be captured,the old with the very old.
Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: “Look, My anger—My burning wrath—is about to be poured out on this place, on man and beast, on the tree of the field, and on the produce of the land. My wrath will burn and not be quenched.”
Cut off the hair of your sacred vow and throw it away. Raise up a dirge on the barren heights, for the Lord has rejected and abandoned the generation under His wrath.
But Yahweh is the true God;He is the living God and eternal King.The earth quakes at His wrath,and the nations cannot endure His rage.
Pour out Your wrath on the nationsthat don’t recognize Youand on the familiesthat don’t call on Your name,for they have consumed Jacob;they have consumed him and finished him offand made his homeland desolate.
I will fight against you with an outstretched hand and a mighty arm, with anger, rage, and great wrath.
Look, a storm from the Lord!Wrath has gone out,a whirling storm.It will whirl about the heads of the wicked.
This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, said to me: “Take this cup of the wine of wrath from My hand and make all the nations I am sending you to, drink from it.

“for this city has caused My wrath and fury from the day it was built until now. I will therefore remove it from My presence,
I am about to gather them from all the lands where I have banished them in My anger, rage and great wrath, and I will return them to this place and make them live in safety.
The people coming to fight the Chaldeans will fill the houses with the corpses of their own men that I strike down in My wrath and rage. I have hidden My face from this city because of all their evil.
So My fierce wrath poured out and burned in Judah’s cities and Jerusalem’s streets so that they became the desolate ruin they are today.
Because of the Lord’s wrath,she will not be inhabited;she will become a desolation, every bit of her.Everyone who passes through Babylonwill be horrifiedand scoff because of all her wounds.
The Lord opened His armoryand brought out His weapons of wrath,because it is a task of the Lord God of Hostsin the land of the Chaldeans.
