The Birth Of Jesus Christ

²¹ She is going to have a son and you should name Him Jesus, for He is the One who will save His people from their sins." ²² Now all this happened in order to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet [Isaiah 7:14], saying, ²³ "Look, the virgin will become pregnant and have a son, and they will name Him Immanuel," which means "God with us."

Matthew 2:15

They stayed there until Herod died, so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled, saying [Hosea 11:1], "I [i.e., God] called my Son out of Egypt."

Matthew 2:23

and settled in a town called Nazareth, so that it could fulfill what was spoken by the prophets [Isa. 11:1 in the Hebrew text] that Jesus would be called a Nazarene.
