'According to the Flesh' in the Bible

Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, He would raise up Christ to sit upon his throne,

about His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who was made of the seed of David according to the flesh,

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

so that the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

For they who are according to the flesh mind the things of flesh, but they who are according to the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Therefore, brothers, we are not debtors to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.

For if you live according to the flesh, you shall die. But if you through the Spirit mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live.

For I myself was wishing to be accursed from Christ for my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh,

Then purposing this, did I indeed use lightness? Or the things that I purpose, do I purpose them according to the flesh, so that with me there should be yes, yes, and no, no?

Since many glory according to the flesh, I also will boast.

Slaves, obey your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ;

Slaves, obey your masters according to the flesh in all things; not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God.
