I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And that life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself on my behalf.

But these are written so that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you might have life in His name.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love his brother abides in death.

Everyone who has been born of God does not commit sin, because His seed remains in him, and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

For His anger is only a moment; in His favor is life. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
