2 Timothy 2:1-7 - Exhortation To Be Strong In Grace
1 Do you, therefore, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things which you heard from me, through many witnesses, these commit to faithful men, who will be competent to teach others also.
3 Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 No one, serving as a soldier, entangles himself in the affairs of life, that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier. 5 And, if also one contends in the games, he is not crowned, unless he contends lawfully. 6 The toiling husbandman must first partake of the fruits. 7 Consider what I am saying; for the Lord will give you discernment in all things.
