and the vineyard which Your right hand has planted, and the Son that You make strong for Yourself.

O Lord, where are Your former loving-kindnesses which You swore to David in Your truth?

with which Your enemies have cursed, O Jehovah; with which they have cursed the footsteps of Your anointed.

You carry them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep; in the morning they are like grass which grows up.

Make us glad according to the days of our affliction, the years in which we have seen evil.

Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with You, which frames mischief by a law?

They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys to the place which You have founded for them.

The trees of Jehovah are full, the cedars of Lebanon which He has planted;

You make darkness, and it is night, in which all the beasts of the forest creep forth.

This is the great and wide sea, in which are creeping things without number, both small and great animals.

Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth,

He has remembered His covenant forever, the Word which He commanded to a thousand generations;

the covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath to Isaac;

And they served their idols, which were a snare to them.

For He commands and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.

and sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.

Let it be to him as the robe which covers him, and for a girdle with which he is always clothed.

This is the gate of Jehovah into which the righteous shall enter.

The Stone which the builders refused has become the Head of the corner.

This is the day which Jehovah has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Turn away my shame which I fear; for Your judgments are good.

And I will delight myself in Your Commandments, which I have loved.

And I will lift up my hands to Your Commandments which I have loved; and I will think on Your Precepts.

ZAYIN: Remember the Word to Your servant, on which You have caused me to hope.

The proud have dug pits for me, which are not according to Your Law.

Let them be like the grass on the housetops, which dries up before it grows up,

with which the reaper does not fill his hand, nor the binder of sheaves his bosom.

If your sons will keep My covenant and My testimonies which I shall teach them, their sons shall also sit on your throne forever.

O daughter of Babylon, O destroyed one! Blessed is he who will repay to you your reward which you rewarded to us.

Keep me from the traps which they have laid for me, and the snares of the workers of evil.

When my spirit fainted within me, then You knew my path. In the way in which I walked they have secretly laid a snare for me.
