Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:

So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.

And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.

And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.

And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.

And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.

This land shall ye part among you, according to the tribes of Israel,

Now these are the names of the tribes: from the north end, from the west on the way of Hethlon to the way into Hamath, in the direction of Hazar-enon, with the limit of Damascus to the north, by Hamath; and on the limit from the east side to the west side: Dan, one part.

And on the limit of Dan, from the east side to the west side: Asher, one part.

And on the limit of Asher, from the east side to the west side: Naphtali, one part.

And on the limit of Naphtali, from the east side to the west side: Manasseh, one part.

And the rest in length alongside the heave offering of the holy parts shall be ten thousand eastward and ten thousand westward. And it shall be alongside the heave offering of the holy part. And its produce shall be for bread to those who serve the city.

All that is separated of the twenty five thousand long and twenty five thousand broad on the four parts, that shall ye put aside for the separated portion of the Sanctuary, and for the possession of the city.

And the property of the Levites and the property of the town will be in the middle of the prince's property; between the limit of Judah's part and the limit of Benjamin's part will be for the prince.

And as for the rest of the tribes: from the east side to the west side: Benjamin, one part.

And on the limit of Benjamin, from the east side to the west side: Simeon, one part.

And on the limit of Simeon, from the east side to the west side: Issachar, one part.

And on the limit of Issachar, from the east side to the west side: Zebulun, one part.

And on the limit of Zebulun, from the east side to the west side: Gad one part.

Thus wide shall the city reach: upon the north part, five hundred and four thousand measures.

"For his sovereignty [is] [an] everlasting sovereignty, and his kingdom [continues] from generation to generation.

Belshazzar, as he tasted the wine, gave a command to bring in the gold and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem, so that the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines might drink from them.

Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them.

In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.

Then, as for the king, his bright looks, changed in him, and, his thoughts, terrified him, - and, the joints of his loins, were loosed, and, his knees, smote, one against another.

Then, King Belshazzar, was greatly terrified, and, his bright looks, were changed upon him, - and, his nobles, were perplexed.

The queen, by reason of the words of the king and his nobles, into the house of banqueting, entered, - the queen spake and said, O king! for ages, live! Let not thy thoughts, terrify thee, and, as for thy bright looks, let them not be changed.

Then was Daniel brought in before the king. And the king spake and said unto Daniel, Art thou that Daniel, which art of the children of the captivity of Judah, whom the king my father brought out of Jewry?

And now the wise men, the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they could not shew the interpretation of the thing:

Then heard I say, that thou can expound dark things, and declare hard doubts. Well then, if thou can read this writing, and show me the meaning thereof: thou shalt be clothed with purple, have a chain of gold about thy neck, and rule the third part of my kingdom."
