Now while Peter was below in the courtyard, there came one of the maid servants of the high priest, and saw Peter warming himself.

Again the maid servant saw him, and began again to tell the bystanders, "He is one of them."

"See, how many accusations they are making." But Jesus no longer made any answer, at which Pilate wondered.

Perceiving this he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priest." And as they went they were made clean.

"'Then why did you not put my money into the bank, so that at my coming I might I might have gotten it back with interest?'

saying, "It is written, ??he house of God shall be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of robbers."

He looked at them and said: "Then what does this scripture mean. "The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the head of the corner?

He answered. "No sooner will you have entered the city than you will meet a man carrying a water-jug. Follow him into the house were he is going.
