but God chose the foolish things of the world, that He might put to shame the wise; and God chose the weak things of the world, that He might put to shame the things that are strong;

But those who are without God judgeth. Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.

What! have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? Or despise ye the assembly of God, and put to shame those who have them not? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you? In this I praise you not.

for He must reign, till He hath put all the enemies under His feet.

for He put all things in subjection under His feet. But, when He saith, "All things have been put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted, Who subjected all things to Him.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

And, when this corruptible shall put on incorruption, and this mortal shall put on immortality, then will come to pass the saying that has been written, "Death was swallowed up in victory."
