Look, bless Yahweh, all [you] the servants of Yahweh, who {serve} in the house of Yahweh by night.

May Yahweh bless you from Zion, [he who] made heaven and earth.

who stand in the house of Yahweh, in the courts of the house of our God.

Who struck the firstborn of Egypt, both of humans and animals.

Who struck many nations and killed mighty kings--

[Those who] make them become like them, [as does] everyone who trusts in them.

O house of Levi, bless Yahweh. [You who] fear Yahweh, bless Yahweh.

Blessed [be] Yahweh from Zion, who dwells [in] Jerusalem. Praise Yah!

To [him who] alone does great wonders, for his loyal love [endures] forever.

To [him who] made the heavens with skill, for his loyal love [endures] forever.

To [him who] spread out the earth above the waters, for his loyal love [endures] forever.

To [him who] made [the] great lights, for his loyal love [endures] forever.

To [him who] struck Egypt through their firstborn, for his loyal love [endures] forever.

To [him who] divided [the] {Red Sea} in two, for his loyal love [endures] forever.

To [him who] led his people through the wilderness, for his loyal love [endures] forever.

To [him who] struck great kings, for his loyal love [endures] forever.

Who remembered us in our low estate, for his loyal love [endures] forever.

[The one who] gives food to all flesh, for his loyal love [endures] forever.

Remember, O Yahweh, against the sons of Edom the day of Jerusalem, the ones who said, "Lay [it] bare! Lay [it] bare to its foundation!"

O daughter of Babylon, about to be devastated, happy [shall be he] who pays back to you {what you paid out to us}.

Happy [shall be he] who seizes and smashes your children against the rock.

who speak against you deceitfully. Your enemies take [your name] in vain.

Do I not hate those who hate you, O Yahweh? And do I [not] loathe those who rise up against you?

who plan evil [things] in [their] heart. They stir up wars continually.

Protect me, O Yahweh, from [the] hands of [the] wicked. Preserve me from violent men, who have planned to {make me stumble}.

[With respect to the] head of [those who] surround me, may the harm of their lips cover them.

Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, to practice wicked deeds with men [who] do iniquity; and do not let me eat of their delicacies.

Blessed be Yahweh, my rock, the one who trains my hands for battle, my fingers for war--

my loyal love and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, and [one] in whom I take refuge, the one who subdues peoples under me.

who gives victory to kings, who rescues David his servant from [the] evil sword.

Blessed [are] the people who have [it] thus. Blessed [are] the people whose God [is] Yahweh.

Yahweh upholds all who are falling, and raises up all who are bowed down.

Yahweh [is] near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry for help, and saves them.

Yahweh protects all those who love him, but all the wicked he will exterminate.

Do not place trust in princes, in a son of humankind with whom there is no deliverance.

who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that [is] in them, the one who keeps faith forever,

[who] executes justice for the oppressed, [who] gives food for the hungry. Yahweh sets prisoners free;

[He is] the one who heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds.

who covers [the] heavens with clouds, who provides rain for the earth, who causes grass to grow on the mountains.

Yahweh takes pleasure in those who fear him, the ones who hope for his loyal love.

[he] throws his hail like crumbs. Who can stand before his cold?
