And when Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with him, then he heard the Voice speaking to him from above the mercy-seat that was upon the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim, and he spoke to him.
And thou shall make two cherubim of gold; of beaten work shall thou make them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat.
And he carved [thereon] cherubim and palm trees and open flowers. And he overlaid them with gold fitted upon the graven work.
And the cherubim spread out their wings on high, covering the mercy-seat with their wings, with their faces one to another. The faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy-seat.
So the people sent to Shiloh, and they brought from there the ark of the covenant of LORD of hosts, who sits [above] the cherubim. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.
And the wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits long; the wing of the one was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house, and the other wing was [likewise] five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou who lead Joseph like a flock. Thou who sit [above] the cherubim, shine forth.

And he built twenty cubits on the hinder part of the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the walls [of the ceiling]. He built [them] for it inside, for an oracle, even for the most holy place.
And he prepared an oracle in the midst of the house inside, to set there the ark of the covenant of LORD. And inside the oracle was [a space of] twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height of it. And he overlaid it with pure gold. And he covered the altar with cedar. So Solomon overlaid the house inside with pure gold. And he drew chains of gold across before the oracle, and he overlaid it with gold. read more.

And the gold was gold of Parvaim. He also overlaid the house, the beams, the thresholds, and the walls of it, and the doors of it, with gold, and engraved cherubim on the walls.

Also he made two pillars before the house of thirty-five cubits high, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits. And he made chains in the oracle, and put [them] on the tops of the pillars. And he made a hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains. read more.
