Judgments » Are sent, as punishment for » Iniquity
to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity.
The earth will reveal the blood shed on it
and will no longer conceal her slain.
Because of the indecency of your uncleanness- since I tried to purify you, but you would not be purified from your uncleanness- you will not be pure again until I have satisfied My wrath on you. I, the Lord, have spoken. It is coming, and I will do it! I will not refrain, I will not show pity, and I will not relent. I will judge you according to your ways and deeds. You did not catch them breaking and entering.
But in spite of all these things
to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity.
The earth will reveal the blood shed on it
and will no longer conceal her slain.
Punishment » Of the wicked
but wrath and indignation to those who are self-seeking and disobey the truth but are obeying unrighteousness;
and punish the men who settle down comfortably,
who say to themselves:
The Lord will not do good or evil.
How much worse punishment do you think one will deserve who has trampled on the Son of God, regarded as profane the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
and their own iniquity,
I will put an end to the pride of the arrogant
and humiliate the insolence of tyrants.
to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity.

fury to His enemies,
retribution to His foes,
and He will repay the coastlands.
this is the Lord’s declaration.
I will kindle a fire in its forest
that will consume everything around it.’”
