I was disgusted (angry) with this generation, and said: 'They always go astray in their hearts, and they have not known my ways.'
A man is commended according to his wisdom. He with a perverse heart will be despised.
Those who are of a perverse heart are abomination to Jehovah. The way of the upright is his delight.
Fraud is in his heart, he devises mischief continually; he sows discord.
He who has a deceitful heart finds no good. He who has a perverse tongue falls into mischief.
He did evil because he did not seriously dedicate his life to Jehovah.
These people are stubborn and rebellious. They have turned aside and departed from me.

That which comes out of the mouth, comes from the heart and makes a man unclean. Evil thoughts come from the heart! Thoughts about murder, adultery, fornication, theft, lying, and slander come from the heart!

The hand of Jehovah is not too weak to save or his ear too deaf to hear. But your wrongs have separated you from your God. Your sins have made him hide his face so that he does not even hear you.
These people are stubborn and rebellious. They have turned aside and departed from me. They do not say in their hearts, to themselves: 'We should respect Jehovah our God. He sends rain at the right time, the autumn rain and the spring rain. He makes sure that we have harvest seasons.' Your wickedness has turned these things away. Your sins have kept good things away from you.
