My soul also is exceedingly troubled; but You, O Jehovah, how long?

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. How long will You forget me, O Jehovah? Forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?

O Jehovah, how long will You look on? Rescue my soul from their ravages, my only one from the lions.

How long, O Jehovah? Will You be angry forever? Shall Your jealousy burn like fire?

O Jehovah, the God of Hosts, how long will You be angry against the prayer of Your people?

How long, Jehovah? Will You hide Yourself forever? Shall Your wrath burn like fire?

Return, O Jehovah! How long? And give pity to Your servants.

How long shall the wicked, O Jehovah, how long shall the wicked exult?

O Jehovah, until when shall I cry and You will not hear? I cry out to You of violence, and You do not save!

Then the Angel of Jehovah answered and said, O Jehovah of Hosts, how long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah against which You have cursed these seventy years?

How long, O Jehovah? Will You be angry forever? Shall Your jealousy burn like fire?

O Jehovah, the God of Hosts, how long will You be angry against the prayer of Your people?

Remove Your stroke away from me; I am destroyed by the blow of Your hand.

O Lord, I pray You, according to all Your righteousness let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain. Because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become a curse to all those who are around us.

Turn us again, O God, and cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved! O Jehovah, the God of Hosts, how long will You be angry against the prayer of Your people? You feed them with the bread of tears; and give them tears to drink in great measure. read more.
You make us a strife for our neighbors; and our enemies laugh among themselves. Turn us again, O God of Hosts, and cause Your face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Return, we beg You, O God of Hosts; look down from Heaven, and behold, and visit this vine, and the vineyard which Your right hand has planted, and the Son that You make strong for Yourself. It is burned with fire, and cut down; they perish at the rebuke of Your holy face. read more.
Let Your hand be on the Man of Your right hand, on the Son of man whom You have made strong for Yourself. So we will not go back from You; make us live, and we will call on Your name. Turn us again, O Jehovah, the God of Hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved.

In that day a man shall look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.

Those who erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and those who murmured shall learn doctrine.

Turn to Him from whom the sons of Israel have deeply revolted. For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your hands have made for you, a sin.

In those days, and at that time, says Jehovah, the sons of Israel shall come, they and the sons of Judah together, going and weeping. They shall go and seek Jehovah their God. They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces there, saying, Come and let us join ourselves to Jehovah in an everlasting covenant never to be forgotten. My people have been lost sheep; their shepherds have caused them to go astray; they have turned them away on the mountains. They have gone from mountain to hill; they have forgotten their resting place.

Afterward the sons of Israel shall return and seek Jehovah their God and David their king. And they shall fear Jehovah and His goodness in the ends of the days.

Come and let us return to Jehovah. For He has torn, and He will heal us; He has stricken, and He will bind us up. After two days He will bring us to life; in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight. Then we shall know, if we follow on to know Jehovah. His going out is prepared as the morning; and He shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain to the earth.

O Jehovah, the God of Hosts, how long will You be angry against the prayer of Your people?

O Jehovah, until when shall I cry and You will not hear? I cry out to You of violence, and You do not save!

And shall not God avenge His own elect who cry day and night to Him, though He has been long-suffering over them?

To the Chief Musician, on the deer of the dawn. A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why have You forsaken me, and are far from my deliverance, and from the words of my groaning? O my God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not answer; and in the night, and am not silent.

O Jehovah, why do You cast off my soul? Why do You hide Your face from me?

And it happened after ten days, the Word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah.
