We shall find all kinds of precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil: Cast in your lot among us; let us all have one purse: My son, walk not in the way with them; refrain your foot from their path:

This is a faithful saying, and these things I desire that you affirm constantly, that they who have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
Charge them that are rich in this present age, that they be not haughty, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to share;
And let our own also learn to maintain good works for urgent needs, that they not be unfruitful.
