8 Bible Verses about Affection For God's People

In brotherly love be full of tender affection toward each other, in honour preferring one another:

Therefore we were comforted in your comfort, and we rejoiced the more exceedingly in the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all. So that if I had boasted any thing of you to him, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, so also our boasting to Titus is found a truth. And his tender affection is more abundant toward you, calling to mind the obedience of you all, how ye received him with fear and trembling.

So, loving you tenderly, we were ready to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but our own souls also, because ye were dear to us.

For God is my witness, how I long for you all, with the bowels of Jesus Christ.

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again, till Christ be formed in you,

Beside the things which are from without, that which rusheth upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

But we were gentle in the midst of you, even as a nurse cherisheth her own children. So, loving you tenderly, we were ready to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but our own souls also, because ye were dear to us.
