Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shades of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like-minded one towards another according to Christ Jesus:

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all consolation.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

In the multitude of my thoughts within me, thy comforts delight my soul.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Verily, verily, I say to you, that ye will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice: and ye will be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he will stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also who sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

And I said to him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they who came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne will dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.read more.
For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will feed them, and will lead them to living fountains of waters: and God will wipe away all tears from their eyes.

And I heard a voice from heaven, saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: Verily, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works follow them.

Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
