But I see another law in my members warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be held with the cords of his sins.

Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say to you, Whoever committeth sin, is the servant of sin.

For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants in obedience, his servants ye are whom ye obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?

For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for naught; and ye shall be redeemed without money.

For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Moreover, he must have a good report of them who are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

But now being made free from sin, and having become servants to God, ye have your fruit to holiness, and the end everlasting life.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

For the law of the Spirit of life, in Christ Jesus, hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

And he began to say to them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you out of the iron furnace, even from Egypt, to be to him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.

Since then the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them, who, through fear of death, were all their life-time subject to bondage.

And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigor. And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in mortar, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service in which they made them serve, was with rigor.

I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thy hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison-house.
