For if any man reputes himself to be something, being nothing, he deceives himself;

If any one teach differently, and do not accede to sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the teaching which is according to piety, he is puffed up, knowing nothing, but sick about questions and disputes of words, out of which arise envy, strife, injurious words, evil suspicions,

not a novice, that he may not, being inflated, fall into the fault of the devil.

because all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

So that let him that thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall.

For I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, of this mystery, that ye may not be wise in your own conceits, that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the nations be come in;

Hast thou seen a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope of a fool than of him.
