But when ye have gone over the Jordan, and dwell in the land which Jehovah your God causeth you to inherit, and when he hath given you rest from all your enemies round about, and ye dwell in safety,

Of Benjamin he said, The beloved of Jehovah, he shall dwell in safety by him; He will cover him all the day long, And dwell between his shoulders.

As we have heard, so have we seen, in the city of Jehovah of hosts, in the city of our God: God doth establish it for ever. Selah.

Behold, I will gather them out of all the countries whither I have driven them, in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who against us?

Because thou hast made Jehovah, my refuge, the Most High, thy dwelling-place, There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.

If thou prepare thy heart and stretch out thy hands toward him, If thou put far away the iniquity which is in thy hand, and let not wrong dwell in thy tents; Surely then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot, and thou shalt be stedfast and shalt not fear:read more.

Confide in Jehovah, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on faithfulness;

The name of Jehovah is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

The fear of man bringeth a snare; but whoso putteth his confidence in Jehovah is protected.

And ye shall do my statutes, and observe mine ordinances and do them: thus shall ye dwell in your land securely. And the land shall yield its fruit, and ye shall eat and be satisfied, and dwell therein securely.

and your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing-time; and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land securely.

And if a man borrow anything of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, its owner not being with it, he shall fully make it good; if the owner thereof be with it, he shall not make it good; if it be a hired thing, it came for its hire.

And I said to the king, If it please the king, let letters be given me to the governors beyond the river, that they may set me forward till I come into Judah;

And he ordered them to provide beasts, that they might set Paul on them and carry him safe through to Felix the governor,

And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig-tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.

And in those times there was no peace to him that went out nor to him that came in, but great disturbances were amongst all the inhabitants of the countries.

Mercy and truth preserve the king; and he upholdeth his throne by mercy.

Obey your leaders, and be submissive; for they watch over your souls as those that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not groaning, for this would be unprofitable for you.
