And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

You shall not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shall you testify in a dispute to follow after a crowd to pervert judgment:

And you shall not walk in the customs of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

When you are come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

For the time past of our life will suffice us to have done the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in licentiousness, lusts, excess of wine, reveling, carousing, and abominable idolatries:

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we should no longer serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we are dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more; death has no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he lives, he lives unto God.

Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.
