So when the first ones came, they assumed they would get more, but they also received a denarius each. When they received it, they began to complain to the landowner: ‘These last men put in one hour, and you made them equal to us who bore the burden of the day and the burning heat!’ “He replied to one of them, ‘Friend, I’m doing you no wrong. Didn’t you agree with me on a denarius? Take what’s yours and go. I want to give this last man the same as I gave you. Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my business? Are you jealous because I’m generous?’ “So the last will be first, and the first last.”
Remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they offer, for the worker is worthy of his wages. Don’t be moving from house to house.
Don’t take a traveling bag for the road, or an extra shirt, sandals, or a walking stick, for the worker is worthy of his food.
Slaves are to be submissive to their masters in everything, and to be well-pleasing, not talking back

until He shows us favor.
A wise servant will rule over a disgraceful son
and share an inheritance among brothers.
To those who send him, a trustworthy messenger
is like the coolness of snow on a harvest day;
he refreshes the life of his masters.
Whoever tends a fig tree will eat its fruit,
and whoever looks after his master will be honored.
“Who then is a faithful and sensible slave, whom his master has put in charge of his household, to give them food at the proper time?
Slaves, obey your human masters with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ.
Slaves, obey your human masters in everything. Don’t work only while being watched, in order to please men, but work wholeheartedly, fearing the Lord.
All who are under the yoke as slaves must regard their own masters to be worthy of all respect, so that God’s name and His teaching will not be blasphemed.
Household slaves, submit with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle but also to the cruel.
