"Strive with yourselves to enter in at the strait gate: For many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
Enter in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: But strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
I am the door: by me, if any man enter in, he shall be safe, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that their power may be in the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Let us fear, therefore, lest any of us forsaking the promise of entering into his rest, should seem to come behind.
Seeing therefore it followeth that some must enter thereinto, and they to whom it was first preached, entered not therein for unbelief's sake.
Let us study therefore to enter into that rest; lest any man fall, after the same example, into unbelief:
"Wherefore if thy hand, or thy foot, offend thee, cut him off, and cast him from thee. It is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed; rather than thou shouldest, having two hands or two feet, be cast in to everlasting fire.
And if also thine eye offend thee, pluck him out and cast him from thee. It is better for thee to enter in to life with one eye, than, having two eyes, to be cast into hellfire.
And he that reapeth, receiveth reward; and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: That both he that soweth and he that reapeth might rejoice together.
He that loveth his life shall destroy it: And he that hateth his life in this world, shall keep it unto life eternal.
And whosoever forsaketh houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake; the same shall receive a hundred fold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
which shall not receive a hundred fold now in this life, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers and children, and lands with persecutions, and in the world to come eternal life.
which same shall not receive much more in this world, and in the world to come: life everlasting."
He that soweth in his flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption: but he that soweth in the spirit shall, of the spirit, reap life everlasting.
