saying, "Let me be: what have we to do with thou, Jesus of Nazareth? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee, what thou art, thou art even that holy man promised of God." And Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Hold thy peace and come out of him."

Luke 4:31-35

Matthew 12:9-14

And the scribes, and Pharisees watched him, to see whether he would heal on the Sabbath day or not, that they might find an accusation against him. But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, "Rise up, and stand forth in the midst." And he arose, and stepped forth.read more.
Then said Jesus unto them, "I will ask you a question: Whether is it lawful on the Sabbath days, to do good? Or to do evil? To save life? Or for to destroy it?" And he beheld them all in compass, and said unto the man, "Stretch forth thy hand." And he did so, and his hand was restored, and made as whole as the other. And they were filled full of madness, and communed one with another, what they might do to Jesus.

And Simon's mother-in-law lay sick of a fever, and anon they told him of her. And he came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever forsook her by and by: And she ministered unto them.

Luke 14:1-6

And it chanced that he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread, on a Sabbath day: and they watched him. And behold, there was a man before him, which had the dropsy. And Jesus answered and spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath day?"read more.
And they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let him go: And answered them, saying, "Which of you shall have an ass, or an ox, fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the Sabbath day?" And they could not answer him again to that.

And Jesus said unto him, "Rise, take up thy bed, and walk." And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and went. And the same day was the Sabbath day. The Jews therefore said unto him that was made whole, "It is the Sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed." He answered them, "He that made me whole, said unto me, 'Take up thy bed, and get thee hence.'" Then asked they him, "What man is that which said unto thee, 'Take up thy bed and walk?'" And he that was healed, wist not who it was. For Jesus had gotten himself away, because that there was press of people in the place. And after that, Jesus found him in the temple, and said unto him, "Behold, thou art made whole: see thou sin no more, lest a worse thing happen unto thee." The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus which had made him whole. And therefore the Jews did persecute Jesus, and sought the means to slay him, because he had done these things on the Sabbath day. And Jesus answered them, "My father worketh hitherto, and I work." Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, not only because he had broken the Sabbath: but said also that God was his father and made himself equal with God.

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth; And his disciples asked him saying, "Master, who did sin: this man, or his father and mother, that he was born blind?" They said unto him, "Where is he?" He said, "I cannot tell." Then brought they to the Pharisees, him that a little before was blind. For it was the Sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes. Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, "He put clay upon mine eyes; And I washed, and do see." Then said some of the Pharisees, "This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the Sabbath day." Others said, "How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles?" And there was strife among them.

And when the Sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue. And many that heard him were astonished, and said, "From whence hath he these things? And what wisdom is this that is given unto him? And such virtues that are wrought by his hands?
