{To the Chanter, a Psalm of David} Blessed is he, that considereth the poor; the LORD shall deliver him in the time of trouble. The LORD shall preserve him, and keep him alive: he shall make him to prosper upon earth, and shall not deliver him into the will of his enemies.

Behold, I come shortly." Happy is he that keepeth the saying of the prophecy of this book.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that their power may be in the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, and giving attendance at the posts of my doors.
{Praise the Everlasting} Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, and hath great delight in his commandments.
O Blessed is the man that hath not walked in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stood in the way of sinners, and hath not sat in the seat of the scornful.
