and not only it, but we ourselves also who have the first fruit of the Spirit, even ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our bodies. For we are saved by hope; but a hope that is seen is not a hope; for why does one hope for what he sees? but if we hope for what we see not, we wait for it with patience.
And we wish you not to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those that have fallen asleep, that you may not grieve as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also will God bring with him those that have fallen asleep on account of Jesus. For we tell you this by the word of the Lord, that we who live and remain till the coming of the Lord, shall not anticipate those that have fallen asleep,
henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge will give me in that day, and not me only but all who love his appearing.
