For from within, out of the heart of man proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, envy, evil speaking, pride, foolishness. All these evils come from within, and defile the man.

Is it not lawful for me, to do what I will with my own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?

The eye is the lamp of the body: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body is full of light, but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, envy, evil speaking, pride, foolishness. All these evils come from within, and defile the man.
