Therefore no flesh shall be justified in his sight by the works of the law; for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

But Israel following after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.

and not sinners of the Gentiles, Even we (knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ) have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law; because by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

But that none is justified by the law in the sight of God, is evident; for the just shall live by faith.

For by grace ye are saved through faith; and this not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works?

If Abraham was justified by works, he hath whereof to glory: but he hath not in the sight of God.

That as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

For who maketh thee to differ from another? And what hast thou which thou hast not received? But if thou hast received it, why dost thou boast, as if thou hadst not received it?

Since I must glory, I will glory of the things that concern my infirmities.

But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the strength of Christ may rest upon me.

For neither they who are circumcised keep the law; but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world is crucified to me, and I unto the world.
