But he said to them, "You give them something to eat." And they said, "We have no more than five loaves and two fishunless we go and buy food for all these people."
Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish.
Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves.
He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast, and now they were not able to haul it in because of the great number of fish.
Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the people.
Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and having given thanks he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.

Simon Peter went aboard and dragged the net ashore, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not torn.
And Simon answered, "Master, we toiled all night and caught nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets."
and a third of the living creatures in the sea died; and a third of the ships were destroyed.
They also had a few small fish; and having blessed them, he commanded that these also should be set before them.

For there were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, "Make them sit down in groups of about fifty each." And they did so, and made them all sit down. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and they took up twelve baskets of broken pieces that were left over.
