But Jesus knowing it departed thence, and great multitudes followed him; and he cured them all,

And he immediately received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God; and all the people seeing it gave praise to God.
And as Jesus was departing thence two blind men followed him, crying and saying, Have mercy on us, Son of David!
And one young man followed him with a linen cloth wrapped about his naked body. And the young men caught him;
who also followed him when he was in Galilee, and waited on him, and many others who had come up with him to Jerusalem.
But Simon Peter followed Jesus, and the other disciple; and that disciple was known to the chief priest, and went in with Jesus to the chief priest's court;
And walking by the lake of Galilee he saw two brothers, Simon, called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. And he said to them, Come after me, and I will make you fishermen of men. And they left their nets, immediately, and followed him.
And passing along by the lake of Galilee, he saw Simon, and Andrew, Simon's brother, casting [a net] into the lake, for they were fishermen. And Jesus said to them, Come after me, and I will make you fishermen of men. And immediately leaving their nets they followed him.
And proceeding a little further on he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; and they were in the ship mending the nets; and he immediately called them. And leaving their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired men, they went away after him.
And Jesus departing thence saw a man sitting at the custom-house, called Matthew; and he said to him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.
And passing by he saw Levi, the son of Alpheus, sitting at the custom house, and said to him, Follow me; and he arose and followed him.
And after these things he went out and saw a publican by the name of Levi, sitting at the custom house, and said to him, Follow me. And leaving all he arose and followed him.
On the next day he wished to go to Galilee, and he found Philip. And Jesus said to him, Follow me. Now Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathanael, and said to him, We have found him of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote, Jesus, the son of Joseph, from Nazareth.
Jesus said to him, If you will be perfect, go and sell your property, and give to the poor, and you shall have a treasure in heaven; and come and follow me.
And Jesus looking at him, loved him, and said to him, One thing you lack; go and sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have a treasure in heaven; and come and take up your cross and follow me.
And Jesus hearing it, said to him, One thing you yet want; sell all that you have, and distribute to the poor, and you shall have a treasure in heaven, and come, follow me. And when he heard these things he was sad; for he was very rich.
And he said to another, Follow me. And he said, Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father. But he said to him, Let the dead bury their dead, but do you go and proclaim abroad the kingdom of God.
For I have been informed of you, my brothers, by the family of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. I mean this; that each one of you says I indeed am of Paul, and I of Apollos, and I of Cephas, and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
Then Jesus said to his disciples, If any one will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake, shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his life? Or what will a man give as an exchange for his life?
And calling the multitude, with his disciples, he said to them, Whoever wishes to follow after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life, shall lose it; and whoever shall lose his life for my sake, and that of the good news, shall save it. For what will it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his life?read more.
for what is the exchange for his life?
And he said to all, If any one wishes to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life, shall lose it; and whoever shall lose his life for my sake, shall save it. For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world and destroys himself, or loses his life?
He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and he that does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. He that finds his life shall lose it, and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.
And great multitudes were travelling with him; and turning around he said to them, If any one comes to me, and hates not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers, and sisters, and still more his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.read more.
For what man of you wishing to build a tower, does not first sit down and estimate the expense, whether he has the means to finish? lest having laid its foundation, and not being able to finish, all who see ridicule him, saying, This man began to build and was not able to finish. Or what king going to engage in war with another king, does not first sit down and consult whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him that comes against him with twenty thousand? And if not, while he is yet a great way off, sending an embassy he desires conditions of peace. So, therefore, no one of you can be my disciple who does not forsake all that he has.
And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come that the Son of man should be glorified. I tell you most truly, that unless the kernel of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it continues alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. He that loves his life shall lose it, and he that hates his life in this world shall preserve it to eternal life.
And a certain scribe came and said to him, Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go. And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of heaven have places of shelter, but the Son of man has not where to lay his head.
And as they were traveling on the way, one said to him, I will follow you wherever you go. And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of heaven places of shelter; but the Son of man has not where to lay his head.
And another also said, Lord, I will follow you, but permit me first to bid farewell to those in my house. But Jesus said, No man putting his hand on the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
From this time many of his disciples went away from following him, and walked no more with him.
When, therefore, he had washed their feet, and taken his clothes and sat down again, he said to them, Do you know what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and Lord; and you say well, for I am. If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.read more.
For I have given you an example, that you also should do as I have done. I tell you most truly, the servant is not greater than his lord, nor the apostle greater than he that sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
but he said this signifying by what death he should glorify God; and having said this, he said to him, Follow me.
But this I confess to you, that in the way which they call a heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers; believing all things written in the law and the prophets,
And the God of patience and consolation grant you to have the same mind one to another, according to Christ Jesus,
Be followers of me as I also am of Christ.
And you became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction with the joy of the Holy Spirit,
For what glory is it if when you sin and are punished you bear it patiently? But if you do well and suffer and bear it patiently, [this deserves thanks], for it is acceptable to God. For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you a copy that you should follow his steps, who committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth,read more.
who being reviled reviled not, suffering threatened not, but committed himself to him that judges righteously,
These are they who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins; these are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from men a first fruit to God and the Lamb,
They shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall conquer them,??or he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.
Then Peter answered and said, Behold we have left all and followed you; what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said to them, I tell you truly, that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, shall yourselves also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel; and whoever has left brothers or sisters, or a father or mother, or children, or lands or houses, for my name's sake, shall receive many times as much, and inherit eternal life.read more.

Peter said to him, Behold we have left all things and followed you. Jesus said, I tell you truly, there is no one who has left a house, or brothers, or sisters, or a mother, or father, or children, or lands, for my sake, and for the sake of the good news, who shall not receive a hundred fold now at this present time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions, and in the life to come eternal life.read more.

And Peter said, Behold, we have left our [property] and followed you. And he said to them, I tell you truly, that there is no one who has left a house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, on account of the kingdom of God, who shall not receive manifold more in this time, and in the life to come eternal life.
THEN Jesus spoke to them again, saying, I am the light of the world; he that follows me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life.
If any man serves me let him follow me; and where I am there also shall my servant be. If anyone serves me, him will the Father honor.
Simon Peter said to him, Lord, where do you go? Jesus answered Where I go you cannot follow me now, but you shall follow afterwards.
