Declare ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow ye the trumpet in the land: cry, Gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the fortified cities. Set up the standard towards Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.

For thou hast been a defense to the poor, a defense to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
