When I came into your house you gave me no water for my feet; but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. "You gave me no kiss; but she, since she came in, has never ceased tenderly kissing my feet; "you never anointed my head with oil; but she has anointed my feet with my feet with perfume. "This is why I tell you that her sins, many as they are, are forgiven, for her love is great; but he who is forgiven little, loves but little. "Your sins are forgiven," he said to her. Then the other guest began to say among themselves, "Who is this even to forgive sins?" But he said to the woman. "Your faith has saved you. Go in peace."

"For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, "He shall drink neither wine nor strong drink, "He shall be filled with the Holy Spirit from the hour of his birth, "And shall win many of the sons of Israel to the Lord, their God. "He shall go before Him in the wisdom and power of Elijah to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous, and so to make ready for the Lord a people prepared for him."
