As far as east [is] from west, [so] he has removed far from us [the guilt of] our transgressions.
Hide your face from my sins, and all my iniquities blot out.
And he touched my mouth, and he said, "Look! This has touched your lips and has removed your guilt, and your sin is annulled."
I made known my sin to you, and my iniquity I did not cover. I said, "I will confess concerning my transgressions to Yahweh," and you took away the guilt of my sin. Selah
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, so that he will forgive us [our] sins and will cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
But to the one who does not work, but who believes in the one who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited for righteousness,
but God demonstrates his own love for us, [in] that [while] we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Happy [is] he whose transgression is taken away, whose sin is covered. Happy [is] a person to whom Yahweh does not impute iniquity and in whose spirit there is not deceit. When I kept silent, my bones were worn out due to my groaning all the day.read more.
For day and night your hand was heavy upon me. My vigor was changed into [the] dry heat of summer. Selah I made known my sin to you, and my iniquity I did not cover. I said, "I will confess concerning my transgressions to Yahweh," and you took away the guilt of my sin. Selah
how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works to serve [the] living God?
On the next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, "Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
Therefore, by much more, [because we] have been declared righteous now by his blood, we will be saved through him from the wrath.
He made the one who did not know sin [to be] sin on our behalf, in order that we could become the righteousness of God in him.
who gave himself for us, in order that he might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good deeds.
thus also Christ, having been offered once in order to bear the sins of many, will appear for the second time without reference to sin to those who eagerly await him for salvation.
And every priest stands every day serving and offering the same sacrifices many times, which are never able to take away sins. But this one, [after he] had offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, from now on waiting until his enemies are made a footstool for his feet.read more.
For by one offering he has perfected for all time those who are made holy.
When he becomes guilty {in any of} these, he shall confess what he has sinned {regarding} it, and he shall bring his guilt offering to Yahweh for his sin that he has {committed}: a female from the flock, a ewe-lamb or {a she-goat}, as a sin offering, and the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin.
And he must bring as his guilt offering to Yahweh a ram without defect from the flock by your valuation as a guilt offering to the priest, and the priest shall make atonement for him {before} Yahweh, and he shall be forgiven {anything} from all that he might do {by which he might incur guilt}."
" 'And when a man lies with a woman [and there is] an emission of semen and she [is] a female slave promised to a man, but she indeed has not been ransomed or freedom has not be given to her, [there] shall be an obligation to compensate; they shall not be put to death, because she has not been freed. And he shall bring his guilt offering to Yahweh at the tent of assembly's entrance: a ram [for] a guilt offering. And the priest shall make atonement for him {before} Yahweh with the ram of the guilt offering for his sin that he {committed}, and so his sin that he {committed} shall be forgiven him.
" 'If someone dies suddenly and makes the head of his separation unclean, he will shave off [the hair of] his head on the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he will shave it off. On the eighth day he will bring two turtledoves or two {young pigeons} to the priest by the doorway of the tent of assembly, and the priest will offer one for a sin offering and one for a burnt offering, and he will make atonement for him because he sinned concerning the corpse. He will consecrate his head on that day.
" 'If one person sins unintentionally, that person will present a female goat {in its first year} as a sin offering. And the priest will make atonement for the person who {sinned unintentionally} {before Yahweh}, to make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.
For the law, possessing a shadow of the good [things] that are about to come, not the form of things itself, [is] never able {year by year} by means of the same sacrifices which they offer without interruption to make perfect those who draw near. For otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, because the ones who worship, having been purified once and for all, would no longer have any consciousness of sins? But in them [there is] a reminder of sins {year by year}.read more.
For [it is] impossible [for] the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
But he [was] pierced because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace [was] upon him, and by his wounds {we were healed}.
Therefore, [because we] have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
because he was well pleased [for] all the fullness to dwell in him, and through him to reconcile all [things] to himself, [by] making peace through the blood of his cross, through him, whether things on earth or things in heaven.
Therefore, [because we] have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have [obtained] access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we boast in the hope of the glory of God.
