But he answered [and] said, "It is written, 'Man will not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes out of the mouth of God." Then the devil took him to the holy city and placed him on the highest point of the temple and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down! For it is written, 'He will command his angels concerning you,' and 'On [their] hands they will lift you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.'" Jesus said to him, "On the other hand it is written, 'You are not to put the Lord your God to the test.'" Again the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, and he said to him, "I will give to you all these things, if you will fall down [and] worship me." Then Jesus said to him, "Go away, Satan, for it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God and serve only him.'" Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and began ministering to him.

Luke 4:1-13

And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing during those days, and [when] they were completed, he was hungry. So the devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, order this stone that it become bread!"read more.
And Jesus replied to him, "It is written, 'Man will not live on bread alone.'" And he led him up [and] showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to him, "I will give you all this domain and their glory, because it has been handed over to me, and I can give it to whomever I want. So if you will worship before me, all [this] will be yours." And Jesus answered [and] said to him, "It is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve only him.'" And he brought him to Jerusalem, and had him stand on the highest point of the temple and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here, for it is written, 'He will command his angels concerning you, to protect you,' and 'on [their] hands they will lift you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.'" And Jesus answered [and] said to him, "It is said, 'You are not to put to the test the Lord your God.'" And [when] the devil had completed every temptation, he departed from him until a favorable time.

Matthew 16:21-23

From that time [on] Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many [things] from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised on the third day. And Peter took him aside [and] began to rebuke him, saying, {God forbid}, Lord! This will never happen to you!" But he turned around [and] said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a cause for stumbling to me, because you are not intent on the things of God, but the things of people!"

Mark 8:31-33

And he began to teach them that it was necessary [for] the Son of Man to suffer many [things] and to be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and to be killed, and after three days to rise. And he was speaking openly [about] the subject, and Peter took him aside [and] began to rebuke him. But turning around and seeing his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said, "Get behind me, Satan, because you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but the things of people!"

Matthew 26:36-44

Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to the disciples, "Sit here while I go over there [and] pray." And taking along Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be distressed and troubled. Then he said to them, "My soul is deeply grieved, to the point of death. Remain here and stay awake with me."read more.
And going forward a little he fell down on his face, praying and saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me. Nevertheless, not as I will, but as you [will]." And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, "So, were you not able to stay awake with me one hour? Stay awake and pray that you will not enter into temptation. The spirit [is] willing, but the flesh [is] weak!" Again for the second time he went away [and] prayed, saying, "My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will must be done." And he came again [and] found them sleeping, {for they could not keep their eyes open}. And leaving them again, he went away [and] prayed for the third [time], saying the same thing again.

Mark 14:32-42

And they came to a place {named} Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, "Sit here while I pray." And he took along Peter and James and John with him, and he began to be distressed and troubled. And he said to them, "My soul is deeply grieved, to the point of death. Remain here and stay awake."read more.
And going forward a little he fell to the ground and began to pray that, if it were possible, the hour would pass from him. And he said, "Abba, Father, all [things] [are] possible for you! Take away this cup from me! Yet not what I will, but what you [will]." And he came and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, "Simon, are you sleeping? Were you not able to stay awake one hour? Stay awake and pray that you will not enter into temptation. The spirit [is] willing, but the flesh [is] weak!" And again he went away [and] prayed, saying the same thing. And again he came [and] found them sleeping, {for they could not keep their eyes open}, and they did not know what to reply to him. And he came the third [time] and said to them, "Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough! The hour has come. Behold, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners. Get up, let us go! Behold, the one who is betraying me is approaching!"

Luke 22:40-46

And [when] he came to the place, he said to them, "Pray that you will not enter into temptation." And he withdrew from them about a stone's throw and {knelt down} [and] began to pray, saying, "Father, if you are willing, take away this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will but yours be done." And being in anguish, he began praying more fervently and his sweat became like drops of blood falling down to the ground.]] And [when he] got up from the prayer [and] came to the disciples, he found them sleeping from sorrow, and he said to them, "Why are you sleeping? Matthew 27:39-44

And those who passed by reviled him, shaking their heads and saying, "The one who would destroy the temple and rebuild [it] in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross!" In the same way also the chief priests, along with the scribes and elders, were mocking [him], saying,read more.
"He saved others; he is not able to save himself! He is the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him! He trusts in God; let him deliver him now if he wants to, because he said, 'I am the Son of God'!" And in the same [way] even the robbers who were crucified with him were reviling him.

Mark 15:31-32

In the same way also the chief priests, along with the scribes, were mocking [him] to one another, saying, "He saved others; he is not able to save himself! Let the Christ, the king of Israel, come down now from the cross, so that we may see and believe! Even those who were crucified with him were reviling him.
